2019 Perago Trust funding recipient William Leigh provides us with an update.
Here's an update on my barefoot waterskiing at the moment. Currently I am living and training in Florida, USA.
I have been here for a little over a month and will be here until the end of October. A couple of weeks ago I skied in the Southern Regional Championships and finished 2nd in International mens.
My scores were 5700 in tricks, 14.8 in slalom, and 20.7 in jump. I was pretty stoked to take out the highest trick score of the competition, across all divisions and competitions.
Next competition on the schedule is the US national champs in Wisconsin, taking place on the 22-24th of August on the "Blue Moo", which hosted the 2016 world championships. Lots of training over the next couple of weeks before heading up.
