Happy New Year!
I wanted to give thanks for your support towards my recent overseas trips! In the past few months I have been to Japan, Melbourne and Tasmania racing and trialing.
It started with Japan in November where I raced in two different UCI class 1 & 2 events. Japan was an awesome experience, racing some top end riders from all over the world for UCI points.
I then participated in Derby Wheel's induction in Melbourne. This is a very exciting opportunity, not just for myself but for all sprint track cyclists around the world.
The organisation intends to bring Keirin track racing international. I am super stoked that I passed their qualifying time and I now wait to hear back from them on the next steps.
I was home for five days before packing up for a third time to head to Tasmania on Boxing Day.
I raced at four different velodromes, both indoor and outdoor. I had lots of fun racing and made some new friends whilst there.
Tas carnivals are always a great racing/training opportunity as I prepare for Oceanias and Nationals early in 2024. The knowledge and experience I have gained through these trips is invaluable.
I am looking forward to putting these learnings into the next events I race early in 2024.
Again, many thanks to Perago for your support.
Regards,Mya
